Today is the 12th of the month and that means it is time for my monthly poem I write to the love of my life, Georgia, celebrating our wedding date. All this time apart
Oh how it aches my heart
To be separated
From the one of my life elated
With each day that passes
My soul amasses
More longing for your company
When only walls I see
As I step out in the morning
There’s a reminder and a warning
So your side never again will I leave
And only to you and faith I’ll cleave
Our love never will it be foresaken
Nor more time be taken
From our lives together
We’ll walk on forever
